It started with a single model.
We started with cheap materials. Each had its own problem. Wood warped in the sun. Plexiglass looked great until it started to bend. You know how easily it scratches? Just put it down somewhere. Glass? Great, until you want to drill holes for a screw-mounted holder.
Then came printing. In a photo you can’t tell cheap from expensive. In person you know within two seconds. Colours, finish. Did you know most home printers don’t print photos with black? They mix three colours to even make black. That’s when you realise black isn’t really black unless you go the quality route. And we could go on like this forever.
Cars and flowers...
We started with cars. Honda, Mustang, Ferrari. Frames for Speed Champions were the first thing that worked and we loved it. Then someone brought a flower.
One. Then another. Suddenly we had more botany than cars in the studio. But a car frame isn’t a flower frame. Different depth, shape, way of mounting. We began designing our own vases and pots specifically for LEGO® botanical sets. Each model called for a slightly different solution and we invented them one by one.
We’re here for you.
Today we know what works. Gallery print, aluminium profile, laser-engraved badge, 3D-printed parts. We didn’t pick any of it right the first time — we worked our way there.
