Question 1

What is the metal collector's badge?

Accepted Answer

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"The metal badge is an elegant laser-engraved plate that works like a museum label. It shows the edition name, model name, and the LEGO® set number. You can place the badge anywhere on the frame to instantly give it a collector's touch. Anyone can tell at a glance which model it is, just like in a museum."}]}]}

Question 2

What is the limited edition and how do I get one?

Accepted Answer

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"The limited edition consists of the first pieces of every new frame edition. They come with a special legendary badge design featuring a unique serial number and extra collector's value. Just order as soon as possible — once they're gone, only the standard edition badge remains."}]}]}

Question 3

Do limited editions have a serial number?

Accepted Answer

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Yes. Every limited-edition frame has a unique serial number engraved on the badge, identifying it as a collector's piece with a set production order."}]}]}

Question 4

Can I add a badge to my own frame?

Accepted Answer

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Yes, the badge is included in the BuildKit. If you already have your own frame, just order the BuildKit and simply add the badge to your existing frame, no need to buy a new one."}]},{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"The BuildKit only includes the standard / classic badge. Legendary badges are only available as part of our frames."}]}]}

Question 5

Can I take my collector's badge off the frame?

Accepted Answer

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Yes! The badge is a collector's item, so it's attached magnetically and you can take it off or move it anytime. Just take it with you and attach it to the fridge, a display case, or any other metal surface."}]}]}
